FrameworksNW works extensively with key regional players from industry, HEIs, public bodies and industry, clusters and networks. There is specific help for SMEs.

Liverpool Port

Since 2003 FrameworksNW has established itself as a high profile contact point offering specialist advice and support on Framework Programme R&D funding for organisations in the North West. During FP6 the project supported approximately 10% of all successful North West projects helping the regional organisations join projects benefiting from over €80million of grant funding.

Enterprise Europe Northwest (EENW) is part of a new and powerful European support network for enterprises.

The EENW offers a single point of contact to assist enterprises by providing free help to find business or research partners and information on EU legislation, funding opportunities and innovation networks.

PROSURF PROJECT

The primary objective of the Prosurf Project is to strengthen SME competitiveness in both the medium and long term. This will be done by increasing knowledge and awareness of high-tech methods in Printed Circuit Manufacturing and surface finishing industries
